Camera Control Modems Camera ROP Modem CM-4-CAM-(XMT/RCV)
Telemetrics Camera Modem units are used in those applications where camera Remote Operating Panels are required to be interconnected through RS-232 type signal paths such as fiber, telephone and wireless links. The transmit modem, CM-4-CAM-XMT, converts the camera manufacturer's protocol allowing the signal to be transmitted from unmodified ROP's through these links to the cameras. The camera location has a complementary Receiver Unit CM-4-CAM-RCV. This unit is able to convert the signals back to the required format needed to control the camera. When used in the conjunction with a Telemetrics Pan/Tilt unit, a Receiver Unit is not required. The conversion is accomplished within the Pan/Tilt unit.
The 19" rack houses four individual converters and power supply for both the converters and the Remote Operating Panels. Front Panel LED's illuminate when send data and return data are present. Power LED's indicate that power is applied to the unit.
Camera Modems are available for Sony and Panasonic type Remote Operating Panels. Consult the factory for additional camera compatibility.

Triax/Coax Intercom Modem ITCM-CV-CAU
The Telemetrics Intercom Modem allows RS-232 bi-directional control signals to be transmitted over audio lines. When used with the Telemetrics coax or triax systems it provides for both a live camera operator shoot with standard intercom or a remotely controlled robotic pan/tilt camera control as required.
The Intercom Modem is available in two versions - send modem and receive modem. The send modem receives RS-232 data from the control system and provides intercom interface to the base station of the camera control system. The receive modem connects the camera adapter to a Telemetrics serial Pan/Tilt head.
