Camera Lens Interface Unit Virtual Studio Lens Interface Unit LIU-VS The Telemetrics Virtual Studio Lens Interface Unit LIU-VS-XXX* adds two high resolution positional encoders to the zoom and focus of the lens. These encoders provide the required precision position information necessary for virtual studio applications. The virtual set is intended for use with the Virtual Studio Option of the LP Servo Pan/Tilt Head (PTO-LP-S3-VS), where the outputs of the zoom/lens encoders are combined with the outputs of the pan/tilt encoders, processed into a serial data format and sent to the Virtual Studio Computer. Camera Lens Interface Unit CLIU-S2 The Camera Lens Interface Unit is a serial input camera and lens control converter. It allows for the control of Cameras and Lenses using the Telemetrics control system without S2 Pan/Tilt Heads. It can also be used to control other robotic devices including the Televator and CTS Camera Track Systems.

LANC Camera Lens Interface Unit CLIU-LANC-PWR The Telemetrics CLIU-LANC-PWR LANC CameraLens Interface Unit provides interface between Telemetrics pan/tilt heads and Mini-DV HD camcorders. It converts the camera/lens control data coming from the pan/tilt head into 1-wire LANC format. It also converts the camera power to appropriate voltage level (8 VDC). The unit is packaged in a small rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure with self-lock mushroom-head fastener on the bottom side for easy mounting.

CLIU-HFUX310 Camera Control Interface Unit The Telemetrics CLIU-HFUX310 Camera Control Interface Unit provides interface between Telemetrics Serial Control Panels and Sony HFU-X310 HD Camera Interface Unit. It converts the Telemetrics serial control protocol into two bidirectional data streams - one for HDC-X310 camera/lens control, and another for Telemetrics robotics control of pan/tilt head and auxiliary robotic devices such as Trolley, Televator, etc. The two data streams are transmitted over the fiber optic cable, connecting the HFU-X310 unit and the HDC-X310 camera. The CLIU-HFUX310 supports two camera interfaces. Each interface comprises three RS-232/422 serial ports. One of the ports receives input from a serial control panel. The other two ports transmit camera and robotics control data to the HFU-X310. One 10Base-T/ 100Base-T port allows communication with the Telemetrics serial control panels through Ethernet networks. The CLIU-HFUX310 is 19” rack mountable, AC powered unit. All interface connectors are located in the rear. System configuration switches and LED display are located on the front panel.

Tally Light Accessories The Telemetrics Tally Light Box can be activated in two ways - from Pan-Tilt Head with tally light output such as PT-LP-S2, PT-LP-S3 or from Tally Light Sensor attached to the camera tally light. Both units can be fasten with pieces of Velcro to the desired mounting surface. The sensor requires external power, which can tapped from the camera or teleprompter power supply via special cable.
