DS-4 Device Server-Ethernet to RS-232/422

The Telemetrics Device Server DS-4 allows any of the Telemetrics serial control panels and robotic devices to communicate with each other through Ethernet networks. Up to 4 serial devices can be interconnected with RS-232/422 jumper selectable data inputs. Integration of the Telemetrics products with the Ethernet and IP network technology provides point-to-point service connection within the plant or across the globe.

Bluetooth Wireless Modules

The Bluetooth modules can be used to replace a wired serial network with a wireless network. The DTE module may be connected to any Telemetrics control equipment wile the DCE module may be connected to any serial Pan/Tit Head. The wireless range is 328 feet standard but it may be increased to 3280 feet with different antennas. This system is ideal for customers that are continuously moving the Pan/Tilt Head to different locations but don’t want to go though the trouble of rerunning the control cables.

STS-12 Serial Control Transfer Switch

The serial control transfer switch provides a transparent communication path between control panels and Pan/Tilt Heads. It is used in multiple control panel system configurations. There is also a manual transfer switch TS-25 or TS-9 available.

The STS-12 is a modular rack system that houses six cards. Each card has two serial ports for a total of 12 ports maximum. Cards are configured to communicate with a control panel or a serial receiver. Transmission protocols include RS-232 and RS-422. Data rate is 9600 BPS, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit
