NAB 2012 Broadcast Pix Compatibility

Telemetrics Expands Versatility of Legislative Camera Control System
System Now Compatible with Broadcast Pix for Added Production Creativity

Las Vegas, NV (April 16, 2012) – Telemetrics Inc. is providing additional depth to its CPS-LGS-S Legislative Camera Control System by making it compatible with the industry leading Broadcast Pix line of video switchers.

In making the announcement, Anthony Cuomo, Vice President and General Manager, Telemetrics, Inc. said, "The Telemetrics CPS-LGS-S Control System with Broadcast Pix Switcher interface is a cost effective solution to the problem our customers face in producing live Legislative proceedings. In particular the activation of multiple robotic cameras for best shot selection, along with video switching and corresponding speaker identifying character generation. We believe users will value the ease of use and cost benefits that this solution provides."

Broadcast Pix integrates several live production tools, including clip store, CG, layers and file-based macros.

The Telemetrics CPS-LGS-S system provides control of camera positions, CCU control, video switcher key, video switcher program/preview busses and character generator – allowing a single operator to efficiently control the video production of legislative chamber proceedings. With the addition of Broadcast Pix compatibility, the CPS-LGS-S will now provide automated control of the Broadcast Pix video switcher’s program, preview and keyers while also recalling specific titles.

Broadcast Pix is known for exceptional control of live production, and their touch-screen or voice-automation up to sophisticated 2 M/E control panels. Customers include leading broadcast, corporate, education, religious, government, webcast, entertainment and mobile studios in more than 100 countries.
