Telemetrics Solves Numerous Production Challenges
With Versatile Remote Camera Control System

Las Vegas, NV (April 7, 2014) – Telemetrics’ next generation Remote Camera Control System, featured here at NAB, is purpose built and designed to extend workflow efficiencies for a wide range of networked or stand-alone camera automation applications. The powerful system combines an intuitive and richly featured Robotic Camera Control Panel (RCCP-1) with the added convenience of a Camera Shader Panel (CSP) supported by Enterprise Database Control Software (EDCS). Telemetrics Remote Camera Control System provides a cohesive solution that provides optimal production efficiencies.

The network capable RCCP-1 Robotic Camera Control Panel supports Ethernet transmission with unlimited control locations. Camera control and functionality, along with control of auxiliary devices, is provided through the panel’s integrated touch screen graphical user interface for ROP controls, and complemented by a joystick for trim controls (pan, tilt, zoom, etc.) and a special programmable knob control. RCCP-1 includes a universal interface to support Telemetrics’ comprehensive line of camera robotics devices, as well as those from other manufacturers.

The Camera Shader Panel (CSP) provides an independent control location for remotely matching multiple automated cameras regardless of Telemetrics or third party robotics. Featuring intuitive controls and a touchscreen interface, control of the CSP can be assigned to single operators, groups or locations. Control for iris, master pedestal and shading as well as CCU functions of major camera brands including master gain, white gain, black level, gamma knee, masking and test bars are supported.

Telemetrics’ Remote Camera Control System is available with several specialized software solutions designed specifically for studio, legislative and symphony applications, with custom applications available on request. Additionally, Telemetrics’ Enterprise Database Control Software (EDCS) provides an enterprise level camera control that enables users to create a shot sank to store frequently used camera moves and sequences. EDCS utilizes a SQL database with configurable access control, providing seamless operation between multiple controllers. The system also provides remote access to all settings and functionality from any networked control location.
