Mobile Production/Transmission Co. Employs Telemetrics At MLB All Star Game.
Mahwah, NJ (August 23, 2002) Flight 9 provides mobile production and satellite uplink services for a wide range of broadcast and corporate sponsored events across the country. The company was recently employed by Century 21 to provide coverage and live transmission for a contest they sponsored at Major League Baseballs All Star Game. With scores of mobile units on hand to cover all the festivities surrounding the All Star Game, Flight 9 was assigned a parking spot in Miller Park s parking. The truck was located over two thousand feet from a camera in the dugout area with a second camera positioned an additional five hundred feet from the dugout. To gain access to the camera feed and establish camera control, Flight 9s engineers employed Telemetrics TM9255B Coax Control System with flawless results.
Telemetrics Coax Control System is the best investment Ive ever made, said Dave Weingold, President and Owner of Flight 9. We were concerned about the pre-installed coax connections at Miller Park and the distances we needed to cover. We plugged in the Telemetrics Coax System and everything worked flawlessly. Its amazing how well the Telemetrics systems works.
Several times at Giants Stadium we ran cable to the TV tunnel and connected to in place wiring to the upper tier at the far end of the stadium and we got a great camera feed using Telemetrics Coax System. The distance was no problem at all. Try to do this with any other system on the market today and see what happens, continued Mr. Weingold. Telemetrics also builds its equipment to last it can take the abuse of field production. And, the few times, when weve needed support, Telemetrics staff has been fast to respond with solutions so that we could stay on schedule. I couldnt ask for more.
Telemetrics TM9255B Coax Camera Control Systems permits long cable runs between camera locations and controllers or other transmission systems such as Flight 9s mobile satellite trucks.
